General Management of Educational Planning was established in 27/2/1419H.
Main tasks:

1. Making educational plans to improve educational work in the Ministry so as to achieve its goals
2.  Making long-term plans for improving educational processes in the Ministry as well as short-term plans taking taking in consideration the following points:

   o Studying educational policies and general goals.
   o Preparing educational planning projects and required work programs in different stages.
   o Specifying the requirement for educational planning according to the current situation and future expectations.
   o Coordination with other departments in making plans.
   o Following up implemention of plans and monitoring them to guarantee the achievement of the educational planning goals of the Ministry.
