Electronic Community Engagement:

The Ministry of Education believes in the importance of community engagement in building and drawing the general features and frameworks for all its actions and decisions. The Ministry adopts a mechanism for expressing opinions and provides an opportunity for all segments of society and relevant people to participate in dialogue and interact with various trends and decisions that concern them.

Through this mechanism, the public beneficiaries and, in general, individuals can express their opinions, provide views, comments, suggestions, etc., and participate in opinion polls available electronically in order to improve and develop the services provided by the Ministry.

This step is part of the ministry's projects and initiatives in adopting e-government. This goes in line with governments around the world for e-community engagement practices, and the need for joint action in which everyone contributes in order to build a better society.

The Ministry of Education has been keen to take advantage of modern technologies by enabling electronic community engagement tools to increase and enrich the level of participation and turn it into tangible results. This can be applied through the ministry’s work methodologies, starting with setting priorities, passing through policy formulation, to making appropriate decisions.

The authority concerned with supervising electronic community engagement:

The General Department of Media and Communication at the Ministry of Education supervises the content published on the e-community engagement page, which contributes to the participation of beneficiaries and the general public in the development of regulations and legislation in the Ministry, where an electronic questionnaire is developed based on the requirements of each new legislative project.
