1. Introduction to the General Administration
Date of Establishment:
The General Administration of Social Responsibility and volunteer work was established by Decision No. 4500254090, issued by His Excellency the Minister of Education on 3/2/1445 AH.
Vision:
To promote social responsibility and volunteer work by fostering integration between the education and training system and the community.
Organizational Structure:
The General Administration:
The General Administration of Social Responsibility and Volunteer Work is organizationally connected to the Assistant Minister for Private Education and Investment.
Sub-Departments:
1. Community Responsibility Department.

Social Responsibility Department
Definition:
It is concerned with activating community partnerships and launching sustainable initiatives to achieve the goals of Vision 2030.
Main Tasks:
1. Organizing partnerships with the government, private, and non-profit sectors.
2. Designing initiatives that promote sustainable development.
3. Measuring social and economic impact.
Notable Partnerships:
1.
The Charitable Health Association for Patient Care (Enayah):
Establishing and equipping a medical clinic at the ministry's headquarters (agreement term: 5 years).

Aamal Association for Family Development:
Activating social responsibility and providing support for productive families (agreement term: 3 years).
Key Initiatives:
The "Little Benefactor" initiative, in cooperation with the Ihsan platform: Enabling children to donate to charitable projects (target group: students aged 5-15 and their parents).
Nonprofit Organization Department
Definition:
It is concerned with supporting and empowering nonprofit organizations to create a significant societal impact within the education sector.
Main Tasks:
1. Support the development of the nonprofit sector within the education system.
2. Empower nonprofit organizations to create a greater societal impact.
3. Provide technical guidance and supervision to nonprofit organizations.
Prominent Partnerships:

Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (Ehsan Platform):
Developing educational non-profit organizations and enhancing their impact in the data and artificial intelligence sector.

Memorandum of Understanding with the Abdulaziz Al-Jomaih Charitable Foundation:
Establishing non-profit organizations and implementing educational and development initiatives.

Memorandum of Understanding with the Association Support
Fund:
Establishing a fund to support civil society organizations in education and provide financial support to them.
Volunteer Work Department
Definition:
It
focuses on fostering a culture of volunteering and offering innovative volunteer opportunities.
Main Tasks:
1. Spreading the culture of volunteering and promoting the values of national belonging.
2. Designing volunteer programs that meet community needs.
3. Training volunteers and developing their capabilities.
Prominent Partnerships:
The National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development.
Key Initiatives:
1. Institutionalizing volunteer work units within the education and training system.
2. Activating volunteer work for secondary school students.
Forums:
Saudi and International Volunteer Day: An annual forum held on December 5 of each year.
