4.7 Million Participants in the " Madrasati (My School) Codes Competition" ... and the results will be announced next month, Shawwal ( June)

The "Madrasati Codes" competition witnessed the participation of (4,766,205) students, including students, teachers, parents, education personnel and community members from its launch at the beginning of the last month of Sha'ban (March 14, 2021) until the end of the first phase on 17 Ramadan (April 29, 2021).
The first phase of the competition ended with the participation of 3.6 million male and female students, more than 24,000 schools, in addition to 360,000 teachers, 40,000 administrators, and with community participation from parents and community members exceeding 800,000 entries, and the number of entries on the competition’s website and application reached More than 11 million.
The competition is sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of Education; With the aim of achieving one of the main pillars of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in promoting a culture of digital skills for students, spreading the culture of programming and innovation in society and among education employees. In addition to qualifying them for international competitions, and consolidating the concept of transformation into a digital knowledge society.
The results of the first phase of the competition will be announced in the month of Shawwal ( May ) , according to a guide to criteria for awarding prizes to Education Departments  and schools , controls for the nomination of teachers for awards, as well as criteria for awarding certificates to honor all participants of male and female teachers, according to specific controls.
It is noteworthy that the competition is held in two phases, where the first phase aims to promote and develop the culture of programming and innovation and employ it among students, teachers and teachers, and raise the participation of parents in activating the Hour of Code, which was held during the second semester of the current year. The second phase aims to encourage innovation and software production, and develop the skills of students and teachers in accordance with the skills of the 21st century, which will be held, God willing, during the first semester of the next academic year 1443 AH (2022) .
