The Minister of Education launches the "Electronic Enrolment” service for new students in more than 12,000 primary schools in the Kingdom

His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, inaugurated officially today the "Electronic Enrolment " service for new students in the primary stage, which was launched by the Ministry of Education for the first time during His Excellency's visit to the corner of educational technologies within the Saudi Digital Pavilion at the LEAP Tech conference 2023 in Riyadh. 
His Excellency the Minister of Education emphasized that the Ministry is keen to keep up with technologies and enhance governance in all educational stages, from the beginning to the end of the stage, as well as strengthen the partnership between the Ministry, its educational institutions, and the parents of students through this service in the various regions of the Kingdom. He continued by saying that the ministry is also eager to collaborate with the relevant sectors related to education, including privatization, the digital government authority, and other sectors.
The "Electronic Enrolment" service is part of the online tools that assist parents of new students in the primary stage enroll their children electronically in the specified schools based on their national addresses recorded with the official authorities. The Electronic Enrolment Service aims to facilitate the beneficiaries' experience, organize the enrolment process for new students, and ensure equal opportunities for their enrolment and absorption through differentiation and the application of appropriate standards, in addition to improving the expansion plan in schools and knowing and determining the actual need for teachers.
The service identifies students as soon as they reach the legal age to enroll in the primary stage, through electronic linkage with the beneficiaries' data registered with the relevant authorities, such as the National Information Center, the Real Estate General Authority, the Saudi Post "Sobol,"  the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Justice. This ensures accurate governance and secure entry through the unified national platform.
The new electronic service will contribute to organizing the enrolment and admission mechanisms in more than 12,000 primary schools in the Kingdom by the new academic year 2023-2024. More than 450,000 male and female students will benefit from it in the first phase of its launch.
The student’s electronic enrolment journey includes reviewing the terms and conditions page and approving the list of general enrolment conditions and controls. Then it is followed by the stage of confirming the validity of the guardian’s data and the student to be enrolled and contact information, specifying the national address, reviewing the available schools and determining desires, and ending with the stage of filling out the exploratory medical examination form and sending the application.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Education is participating in the International Tech Conference (LEAP) 2023 through the Saudi Digital Pavilion with (9) electronic services, including the Electronic Enrolment service, the Madrasati platform, Rawdati platform, the Ekhtibar platform, the virtual school, the Noor system, and other digital platforms and services.​
