His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, met today, Wednesday, with the Brazilian Minister of Education Milton Ribeiro, during his attendance at the meeting of the Education Ministers of the G20countries in Catania, Italy.
The meeting reviewed the Saudi global model in distance education, areas of joint cooperation between the Kingdom and Brazil in educational aspects, as well as scientific and research partnerships between universities in the two friendly countries, and the Brazilian experience in managing the educational process for more than 56 million students during the pandemic.
During the meeting, the Brazilian Minister of Education noted and exalted the great and distinguished efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during its presidency of the G20 Summit 2020, and the special interest in the education file. He praised the success of the Saudi experience in distance education during the pandemic, and the experience of the Ministry of Education and Saudi universities in bridging diploma programs, considering it a distinguished experience in developing, empowering and investing human capabilities in the disciplines required for the labor market.
