In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources celebrated the graduation of industrial sector scholars within the Wa'ed Track—a key component of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program.
As one of the program's specialized tracks, Wa'ed aims to bridge the gap between educational outcomes and labor market demands. It serves as an extension of the strategic partnership between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Education, and the private sector to develop a highly qualified national workforce equipped with the skills and knowledge required to keep pace with industrial transformations and achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The ceremony honored 68 male and female graduates who completed their employment-linked scholarship programs, alongside several strategic partners. Furthermore, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources signed 8 new agreements with national companies to secure 221 job opportunities through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program.
This initiative falls under the Kingdom's commitment to empowering national talent in promising disciplines and aligning scholarship outcomes with national priority sectors—most notably industry and mining. It plays a pivotal role in attracting and qualifying specialized talent while boosting private sector participation in human capability development.
