In the presence of the Deputy Minister of Education for Investment, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hajri, the closing ceremony of the EdTech & Assessment Hackathon was held today in Riyadh. The event was organized through a strategic partnership among the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at), the Ministry of Education, the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC), and the National e-Learning Center (NELC).
The ceremony featured the honoring of the winning teams and projects, alongside several private sector partners. This marked the conclusion of the hackathon, which drew 195 participants who developed 35 innovative projects. The initiative also incubated 25 promising entrepreneurial slots across 7 competitive tracks. The intensive program included 5 specialized workshops and 40 hours of training and mentorship.
The EdTech & Assessment Hackathon serves as an innovative hub that brings together entrepreneurs and innovators to develop technological solutions for the education sector. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, it empowers them to transform their innovations into projects with a sustainable social impact."
