The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pavilion takes part in the 27th Muscat International Book Fair

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Cultural Mission at the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Oman, is participating in the Muscat International Book Fair in its 27th Edition, which will run until March 4, 2023, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Fair's opening featured the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Interior of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyed Hamoud bin Faisal bin Said Al Busaidi, to the Kingdom’s participating pavilion, where he was received by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Abdullah Al-Anzi.
The Saudi Cultural Attaché gave a full explanation of the pavilion's books, publications, and presentations. The pavilion displays many products, books, and introductory information about the Kingdom and the development renaissance it is experiencing in various fields, which reflect future directions and are in line with achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
The Cultural Attaché in Muscat, Mr. Yahiya Al-Dawood, confirmed that the Saudi Cultural Mission, with the support and guidance of His Excellency the Minister of Education and the direct follow-up and supervision of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Oman, worked hard to harness all capabilities to highlight the Kingdom's participation in this great cultural fair, referring to the fair's visitors' turnout at the Saudi pavilion.
Al-Dawood Clarified that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance is participating in Kingdom’s pavilion with its publications and electronic applications. The pavilion also includes a corner for the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, in addition to the various contributions of King Abdulaziz University and the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah).​
Over 826 publishing houses from 32 countries display 533,000 Arabic and other language books at the fair. The cultural program of the fair includes 331 events, including seminars, cultural evenings, lectures, and workshops, and a book-signing corner.​
