The second edition of the Saudi-Canadian Education Partnership Forum, organized by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the University of Toronto, was held in Toronto, Canada, and featured numerous leaders from both countries' public and private sectors.
Her Excellency, Dr. Enas bint Sulaiman Al-Issa, Vice Minister of Education, emphasized at the forum's opening that the educational partnership between the Kingdom and Canada represents a well-established academic collaboration. She highlighted the development and prosperity of the education ecosystem, which has made it more competitive and aligned with innovation and economic development, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

A total of 33 Saudi entities participated in the forum. These included various ministries, national bodies, the education sector, universities, governmental and private institutes, research centers, hospitals, and Saudi cultural attachés in Canada and the United States. Additionally, more than 45 Canadian universities and educational institutions took part in the event.
Two dialogue sessions were conducted as part of the forum's activities, featuring participation from various academics and specialists from both sides. The first session discussed institutional and national priorities in the education ecosystem in line with Saudi Vision 2030, and the second session explored ways to enhance cooperation between the Kingdom and Canada in technical and vocational training.

The events included specialized bilateral meetings to discuss ways to build effective partnerships. The Arab-Canadian Business Council, in cooperation with the Canadian Embassy in the Kingdom and the Saudi-Canadian Business Council, held a meeting on the sidelines of the forum. The Saudi delegation also visited several Canadian universities and specialized colleges in the province of Ontario.
The forum, which launched its inaugural edition in Riyadh in 2024, acts as a platform to foster collaboration among educational, research, technical, and health organizations in both the Kingdom and Canada. It also aims to explore investment opportunities in the Kingdom's education sector.
