A Royal Decree has been issued, approving the holding of graduation ceremonies in universities and educational facilities, considering the application of the "Protocol for Graduation Celebrations to Prevent the Coronavirus" prepared by the Public Health Authority, Weqaya.
This generous parental gesture comes from the wise leadership to share with male and female students and their families in their joys and celebrate their success and graduation, which form the building blocks of this generous country, and as an extension of the continuous support that education receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God preserve them.
The announced protocol includes all the requirements and precautions that the organizers of the graduation ceremonies and the families of both male and female graduates must follow, in order to achieve the state's general policy of preventing the spread of the pandemic.
The approved protocol stipulates the requirement to immunize graduates according to the conditions set out in the Tawakkalna application, and to allow the vaccinated members of the family of each graduate who are over 18 years old (or older than the minimum age specified for taking the vaccine if it is updated later). This is provided that the family members of the invited graduate do not exceed two people per graduate, and that the student is honored through a special track, so that mixing with invitees is avoided. The instructions include displaying the “Tawakkalna” application, and that the invitations be online, provided that the period of one celebration does not exceed half an hour.
The protocol stresses the importance of constantly alerting attendees, graduates, workers and those in charge of the ceremony of the importance of adhering to safety guidelines and physical distancing.
