His Excellency, the Acting Vice Minister of Education, Dr. Saad Al Fehaid, met a delegation of foreign ambassadors headed by the Ambassador of the European Union, and the Head of the European Delegation to the Kingdom, Mr. Patrick Simonnet, to discuss a number of topics related to education in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The delegation included ambassadors from the following European Union member states: Germany (Mr. Dieter Lamlé); France (Mr. Ludovic Bouille); the Netherlands (Ms. Janet Alberda); New Zealand’s Deputy Ambassador (Ms. Louise Searle), and the Chargé d'Affairs of the Canadian Embassy, Mr. Perry Calderwood.
The meeting dealt with the efforts of the Ministry of Education in continuing the educational process, in person and remotely, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the achievement in education made by the Kingdom in light of Vision 2030.
