The Ministry of Education will celebrate World Teachers’ Day tomorrow; 5 October, under the slogan: “The teacher is the heart of Education Recovery". This is an appreciation of the role of teachers in education processes, improving its outputs, preparing and developing the capabilities of the future generation, actively contributing to the development of society, and the ability to keep pace with Variables and transforming challenges into opportunities for success.
The Ministry of Education is organizing a special celebration for World Teacher's Day at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sheikh. It includes honoring a number of teachers who have created stories of success and excellence during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as activating the Madrasati platform to celebrate this occasion, by activating the participation of students and their teachers in virtual classes to express their feelings on this occasion, and organize a number of remote activities.
All education departments, offices, and schools celebrate male and female teachers by dedicating part of the school day to this occasion. These entities are requested to hold events, programs and activities that highlight the status of male and female teachers. They should shed light of their lofty message in building the human being, and the human, educational and national values that they have as role models for their students and society, in addition to maximizing feelings of appreciation and respect for them, and strengthening them in the hearts of students, and rooting and strengthening community initiatives towards the teacher.
