On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, is participating in the Global Education Summit  and Financing Partnership for Education 2021-2025, which will be held over two days, July 28-29, in London, United Kingdom, under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson and the organization of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE).
On Thursday 29th July, the Minister of Education will deliver the Kingdom's speech on behalf of His Highness the Crown Prince during the activities of the summit, which will be held, with the participation of presidents of 12 states, 60 ministers of education, in person and virtually, in addition to representatives from the private sector, influencers and partners from the youth category.
The work of the summit deals with calling on the international community to finance the strategic plan of the Global Partnership for Education, and to raise $5 billion over the next five years, as well as drawing a road map for transforming education systems in the targeted countries, by exchanging best practices, studying the latest systems, and listening to Experts and youth from all over the world, as well as benefiting from the expertise and experience of the stakeholders.
It is noteworthy that the Global Partnership for Education, a leading global non-governmental organization, headquartered in Washington, United States, supports the financing of quality education services for all children, especially in lower-income countries to take advantage of the opportunities of the twenty-first century, improve access to equitable and inclusive education, as well as bridging  educational and digital gaps, and addressing all forms of inequality, in line with the sustainable development goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, by ensuring quality, equitable and inclusive education for all, and promoting lifelong learning opportunities .
