The Ministry of Education launched a package of educational and training programs and initiatives for male and female students during the summer vacation, as part of its plan to support education during the summer season to enhance the use of their vacation time according to a time plan, raise their educational level. As well as developing their skills and abilities to enhance learning outcomes and national values.
The Ministry announced the "remote" summer educational support centers through the "Madrasati" platform for elementary and intermediate school students. The registration will be available in schools selected by the Education Directorates in the regions and governorates to raise the educational level of students in the main subjects “the Holy Qur’an, Arabic language, mathematics and science”, build and strengthen their skills and develop their abilities. In addition, consolidating the values of citizenship, enhancing their belonging and pride in their religion and country, as well as contributing to building a moderate and effective personality in their society.
The Ministry allowed male and female students in the General Education to benefit this year from the summer activity program "My Activity", which offers them many systematic and diverse activities during the summer season according to a time plan. The program aims at investing and occupying their time, and refining their talents in what is useful in an entertaining and competitive form. As well as developing their capabilities within a wide range of programs, activities and cultural, entertainment and sports events, and enhancing the educational and national gains achieved in student activities, through a number of competitions and projects that contribute to improving Quality of life in line with Vision 2030.
The Ministry of Education continues its summer campaigns to raise awareness and eradicate illiteracy remotely for the academic year 2021. The ministry provides these summer campaigns to a group of beneficiaries in the regions of Medina, Asir, and Makkah to ensure quality, equitable and inclusive education for all, enhance lifelong learning opportunities for all. Moreover, establishing belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its leadership, and raising awareness among them, through a set of educational, cultural, health, social and awareness programs and events, as well as enrichment activities.
