The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prize is one of the leading international awards that recognizes innovative projects that use information and communication technology to support sustainable development.
This participation provided a significant opportunity for the Ministry of Education to showcase its initiatives in advancing digital education and enhancing the e-learning experience in the Kingdom.
The participation plans included studying the award criteria, selecting eligible projects, and preparing models and certifications for submission. The "Madrasati" project was submitted in January 2025, and its acceptance was announced in March, followed by voting in April, alongside media campaigns designed to support participation.
