His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, and His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Sabti, recognized outstanding public, private, and international schools across the Kingdom during the National Forum for School Excellence "Tamayuz 2025," organized by the Commission today in Riyadh.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Education highlighted the achievements of 760 outstanding schools in the school calendar. These achievements reflect our wise leadership's commitment to the education sector and its crucial role in developing human capital and fostering sustainable development. This aligns with the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program and Saudi Vision 2030.

His Excellency emphasized that outstanding schools across the Kingdom serve as a model for fostering a culture of excellence in education. These institutions exemplify educational transformation and encourage healthy competition among schools. He highlighted the Ministry's initiatives designed to achieve these objectives, which include restructuring the Ministry and its educational departments, establishing the National Institute for Educational Professional Development and the National Curriculum Center, and delegating operational responsibilities to Tatweer Education Holding Company. This restructuring allows schools to concentrate on their educational missions.

Al-Benyan praised the efforts of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and its partners in the education field, including leaders, teachers, and administrators, in improving the quality of education and developing its environment. He underscored the importance of empowering schools and enhancing their independence and efficiency, as they are the true core of the educational process and the foundation for building individuals and society.

His Excellency clarified that a school's success is linked to its focus on educational priorities, which include consolidating basic skills in reading, mathematics, and science; enhancing school assessment results; instilling national values and positive behavior; and fostering effective partnerships with families and the community.

His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al-Sabti, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, emphasized that the collaboration among the Commission, the Ministry of Education, and the Human Capability Development Program in implementing the National Program for School Evaluation, Classification, and Accreditation serves as an excellent example of teamwork. This cooperation facilitates the process, addresses challenges, and enables rapid progress in record time.

Dr. Al-Sabti said, “For the first time in the history of education in the Kingdom, all schools in over 2,200 cities, villages, and Bedouin settlements have undergone a comprehensive evaluation and classification. This achievement was accomplished through approximately one and a half million classroom visits, field interviews, and hundreds of thousands of field trips to various regions throughout the Kingdom, including both nearby and remote centers."

The forum is part of a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Education and the Education and Training Evaluation Commission. Its purpose is to promote the Saudi model for ensuring quality education and to recognize schools that have achieved excellence, as determined by the school classification established by the National Program for School Evaluation, Classification, and Accreditation.
