The Ministry of Education participates in the World Education Forum 2025 in London


​The Deputy Minister for International Cooperation, Prof. Nasser Al-Aqeeli, led the Ministry's delegation at the World Education Forum 2025, held in London, United Kingdom, from May 19 to 21. The theme of the forum was "From Stability to Growth: Building Stronger, Bolder, and Better Education Together." Education ministers from various countries participated in the event.

The Saudi delegation attended the official opening and first plenary session of the forum, as well as the workshop titled "Partnership in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Sector." The workshop focused on exploring opportunities for business cooperation within Saudi Arabia's technical and vocational education and training sector.

The Saudi delegation met with Mr. Stephen Morgan, the British Minister for Early Education, and Professor Sir Steve Smith, the British Prime Minister's Special Representative to the Kingdom for Education. They also visited the London Business School, where they received a briefing on the school's educational programs and discussed potential opportunities for future collaboration.

The delegation held multiple meetings with British educational institutions, including a session with the British Skills Partnership to enhance collaboration between the Saudi Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and the British Department for Business and Trade, focusing on training and skills development. Additionally, they met with the British Education Service Suppliers Association (BESA) to establish partnerships in special education and early childhood education and improve the quality of educational resources, particula​rly in light of the successful outcomes observed in a group of schools in Riyadh. Furthermore, the delegation interacted with representatives from Pearson Education, a global publishing and educational services company, to explore potential opportunities for expansion in vocational education.
