The Emir of the Riyadh Region sponsors the Ministry of Education's celebration of the 95th National Day
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of the Riyadh Region, sponsored the Ministry of Education's celebration of the 95th National Day this evening at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.
Upon arriving at the ceremony, His Highness was welcomed by His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, along with several leaders from the ministry.
His Highness The Emir of Riyadh congratulated the students on this occasion and praised the Ministry of Education for its efforts in organizing programs and celebrations. He expressed his happiness about participating in the Ministry of Education's National Day celebration.
Following the royal anthem, the ceremony commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. His Excellency, the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, then delivered a speech in which he praised His Highness, the Emir of the region, for his continued support and his patronage and honoring of the Ministry of Education's celebration on this occasion.
His Excellency stated, "Our wise leadership has placed the citizen at the center of development and has invested in building minds and shaping the future, making education a fundamental pillar of this nation's progress and renaissance." He further emphasized that the education ecosystem continues to fulfill its mission of preparing an aware and creative generation that advances through knowledge and learning.
In his speech, His Excellency Al-Benyan underscored that schools, families, teachers, and students are essential partners in shaping the nation's present and building its future. He highlighted that education serves as a crucial gateway to development and is an integrated system that plays a vital role in developing minds, reinforcing identity, and shaping the future.
His Highness and the attendees watched a visual presentation that commemorated the occasion. Several students then presented a poetic dialogue titled "Our Pride is Our Nature," followed by a poem called "The Throne of the Nation."
His Highness also viewed an operetta titled "In the High Sky."
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness toured the accompanying exhibition.
