The Ministry of Education has officially launched today the second edition of the Nonprofit Sector Forum in Education and Training, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education. This two-day forum, taking place at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, is attended by several key figures, including the Assistant Minister of Education for Private Education and Investment, Eng. Iyad Al-Garawi; the Assistant Minister of Education, Eng. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi; and the Assistant Minister of Education for Development and Transformation, Eng. Murhaf Al-Madani. Among the attendees are various government leaders, officials, and stakeholders involved in the education and training system, as well as the nonprofit sector.

The attendees toured the forum's accompanying exhibition, where they viewed the contributions of the participating pavilions, which comprise more than 50 educational and non-profit organizations. They also listened to explanations of the opportunities available for collaboration and building effective partnerships in the field of education, as well as their own fruitful and valuable educational experiences.

The forum's scientific activities, held under the theme "Qualitative Partnerships and Sustainable Solutions," began with a panel discussion titled "Building Human Capabilities in the Non-Profit Sector: Programs and Initiatives," which discussed linking training programs to the labor market and the role of employers in formulating these initiatives. Additionally, the session, "Empowerment Across Sectors: Enhancing the Effectiveness of Non-Profit Training," explored mechanisms for improving the quality of non-profit training and the enablers of the national skills system.
A session titled "Early Childhood in the Non-Profit Sector: Empowerment Opportunities and Impact Models" explored the current state of early childhood education in the non-profit sector, emphasizing opportunities for growth and the pursuit of excellence in non-profit kindergartens. Furthermore, the "Non-Profit Sector and Disability Programs" session addressed the current landscape and aspirations of non-profit organizations in their programs for people with disabilities.

The first day of the Non-Profit Sector in Education and Training Forum featured three specialized workshops, covering the services provided by the National Center for Strategic Partnerships to empower non-profit entities, the "Alpha Generation: Research Insights to Understand the Next Generation and Formulate Inspiring Educational Programs" workshop by the Ithra Center, and the "Empowering Non-Profit Kindergartens: Practical Steps" workshop.
The forum featured the presentation of three working papers. The first paper highlighted the participation of talented individuals from the Future Path Association in the ITEX International Exhibition. The second paper discussed the expansion of non-profit schools to address educational challenges. The third paper focused on empowering educational communities through digital awareness, specifically the Digital Balance Initiative—"Sync"—which serves as a developmental model from the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).
The Ministry of Education organizes a wide range of diverse events accompanying the forum's activities, such as the interactive mural, visitor surveys, the partnership community that brings together donors, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations, as well as the support center that includes representatives from 18 entities offering various services.
