The Minister of Education Meets with the President of the University of Wollongong

His Excellency, Minister of Education Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, met with Professor Max Lu, President of the University of Wollongong, to discuss potential academic and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Australian university.
The meeting addressed the University of Wollongong's interest in establishing a branch in the Kingdom. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of education, broaden academic options for Saudi students, and promote the exchange of academic and research expertise between both parties.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister underlined the value of investing in education as a crucial foundation for human resource development. He praised the initiative taken by the University of Wollongong, which demonstrates confidence in the Kingdom as a premier educational destination and a hub for innovation and scientific research. The discussion also covered the requirements for establishing the new branch, ensuring compliance with Saudi academic quality standards while enhancing opportunities for research collaboration and joint programs with local universities.
