The Ministry of Education Urges all its Employees and Intermediate and Secondary School Students to Get Two Doses of the Covid-19 vaccine

The Ministry of Education has announced the in-person return of intermediate and secondary school students who have received two doses of the vaccine. As for the primary stage and kindergarten, the student's return will be linked to reaching the required societal immunity (70%) of the Kingdom's population in two doses, or on 10/30/2021, whichever comes first.
The Ministry has called on all students, parents, and employees to obtain two doses of the vaccine against the Coronavirus before the start of the new academic year, which will start on August 29, 2021, to preserve their safety, their families, and the health of the educational community, within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to immunize all students in the intermediate and secondary stages, general education employees, university students, and the students and employees of the  General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training in a way that contributes to their protection, protecting the whole society, securing the work environment, and ensuring the orderliness of the educational process for the new academic year.
The current period is witnessing great interaction and interest from all parents and families to initiate the vaccination of their children for the target age group, within the effective partnership of the family with the Ministry of Education to contribute to the return to school classes, and to reach the required societal immunity (70%) of the population of the Kingdom.
The government has harnessed all its capabilities to maintain the health and safety of the society and has provided vaccines in all approved vaccination centers, including 35 centers for providing vaccines in universities, and specialized tracks for general education students in those centers to complete the immunization operations with two doses before the start of the academic year, as well as providing appointments for students targeted by vaccination operations, teachers, teaching and training member staff, and education administrators.
The Ministry of Education is participating with many government agencies and community institutions in supporting the process of immunizing students and education staff, in a sense of national responsibility, limiting the spread of the pandemic, maintaining the safety and health of the society, and contributing to the speedy return to normal life.
