The Ministry of Education Signs a Training Agreement for Saudi doctors with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland

The Ministry of Education signed a medical training agreement with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) today, Thursday, to provide 50 seats annually for Saudi doctors in the two stages of fellowship (a certificate of specialization) and subspecialty.
His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Universities, Research, and Innovation, Dr. Mohammad bin Ahmed Al-Sudairi, attended the signing of the agreement ceremony. The two sides were represented by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Scholarships, Dr. Amal bint Abdul Hameed Shuqair, and Dr. Mary Horgan, President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
With over 13,000 registered members, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland is one of the largest medical colleges in the world. It is recognized by health institutions all over the world. It also offers membership exams in general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, public health medicine, and occupational medicine.​
